- Child Development Specialists – help you set goals and create learning opportunities throughout your child’s daily routines. Our Early Interventionists are dedicated to providing routine based intervention with children and families. We are focused on implementing services that achieve functional outcomes. We utilize coaching methods with parents/caregivers so they are confident implementing strategies with the child. Our CDS therapists are always highly valued by the families they are paired with.
- Vision Services- Vision Special Instructors address areas of early childhood development in which vision loss has an impact and assist in
making environmental adaptations in daily routines. They work on beginning literacy skills for future Braille and print
readers by developing strong tactile, visual, and listening skills.
In addition, a Vision Special Instructor will also interpret eye reports and help the family understand the child’s eye
condition. - Hearing Services- These services will be provided by a Hearing Special Instructor. Hearing Special Instructors work with children who have hearing loss to any degree. They provide unbiased support to families while creating an individualized communication plan. The teacher focuses on family goals and education to develop strategies and environmental adaptations while using all senses to guide the family and support the child’s overall development.
- Vision Services- Vision Special Instructors address areas of early childhood development in which vision loss has an impact and assist in
- Speech Language Pathologists –promote the development of your child’s speech, language, and/or swallowing utilizing evidence based practice with professionals who are committed to providing exceptional services with functional outcomes for your child. Our therapists are some of the very best our community has to offer!
- Occupational Therapists - provide services under IDEA Part C to children with developmental delays. Occupational Therapists work with the family and infant or toddler in the natural environment to promote function and engagement in everyday routines, such as mealtime, play, and social development. We have exceptional Occupational Therapists on our team!
- Physical Therapists - support and promote the development and engagement of infants and toddlers, and their families or other caregivers, in everyday routines. Our Physical Therapists' distinct value is transforming society by optimizing movement to improve the human experience. Physical Therapists create unique, individualized treatment plans that outline the treatment goals and methods. Our Physical Therapists are seasoned, valued members of the Blair Therapies team!
