Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)

Blair Therapies is excited to announce an immediate opening for an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our Early Intervention Department (Cambria and Blair Counties), with the potential for a clinic-based component at our Pediatric Therapy Center in Altoona, PA.

We are a therapist-owned and operated practice with over 45 dedicated professionals serving children and families across our Early Intervention, Pediatric Therapy Center, and School-Based departments. Responsibilities:

The Occupational Therapist will support children in developing functional skills that promote independence in daily living, play, and learning across natural and clinical environments.

  • Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric clients

  • Implement individualized treatment plans addressing developmental, motor, sensory, and self-care skills

  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, interdisciplinary team members, educators, and families

  • Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with state and company requirements

  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive therapy environment

  • Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to provide education, strategies, and progress updates

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

  • Current Pennsylvania licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR)

  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required

  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to compassionate, family-centered care

Position Details & Benefits:

  • Compensation: $30 - $45 per hour. Competitive rates based on experience and role.

  • Location: In person. Primarily Cambria and Blair Counties. Home-based, natural environments with opportunity to include clinic-based work depending on interest and availability

  • Schedule: Preference for full-time candidates, though part-time applicants will be considered

  • Physical Demands: Floor play, occasional lifting, and navigating home environments
