Speech Language Pathologist

As an Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist, Allie works with children from birth to age three who need extra support with talking, understanding language, communicating their wants and needs, or feeding. She sees families in their homes, at daycare, and out in the community, so therapy happens in the places where kids spend their days. A big part of Allie's work is coaching parents and caregivers with simple strategies they can use during everyday routines like mealtime, bath time, and play, so their child keeps making progress between visits.

Outside of work, Allie is working toward her lifelong goal of teaching her dog to say "I love you," though so far he has only mastered "roo." She also claims to hold the Central Pennsylvania record for most bubbles blown during a single therapy session.
